Use this route when material hosted or displayed by a Tagg user appears to use a copyrighted work without permission. Examples include a profile song, background, cover image, copied review text or another uploaded asset.

A disagreement about criticism, a low rating, a title shown in the media catalog or a link to an authorised third-party page is not automatically copyright infringement. For impersonation, harassment, scams or unsafe links, use the general report form.

Check that you own the work or are authorised to act for its owner. Consider whether the use may be licensed or permitted by a legal exception. Copyright disputes can be complex; Tagg cannot give legal advice or decide ownership like a court.

Do not submit a notice merely because content mentions your work or expresses an opinion about it. Knowingly false, abusive or misleading notices may result in action on the reporting account.

• Your email and relationship to the rights owner.
• A clear identification of the copyrighted work.
• The exact Tagg profile or content URL where the material appears.
• Enough detail to locate the material and understand why you believe the use is not authorised.
• A link to an authorised or original version where available, without sending passwords or private account credentials.

The form creates a private report record and returns a reference ID. Keep that reference for follow-up.

Tagg will review a sufficiently complete notice and may ask for clarification. We may hide or remove material while reviewing it, especially where the claim is specific and the apparent risk is clear.

Where appropriate, the uploader may be told what was claimed and given a chance to explain their permission or legal basis. Personal contact details are not shared unless necessary for the process, authorised by you or required by law.

Repeated infringement can lead to upload restrictions or account closure. If you are the uploader and believe a decision is wrong, use Contact support with the reference and supporting information.
